Not only can you now access High Storrs School News and Alert Status through our website and email system but also through our RSS feed.
An RSS Feed is an small (xml) data file that sits on our website. The file contains shortened information on our latest news and alert status and maintains links to the full information.
Why would I need this?
If you use a regular search engine for your home page at work/home i.e. Google, Yahoo or a news aggregator, you can now personalise your home page by adding various relevent news feeds using their system. If you wished to see our alert status without checking our homepage or your email, you could check it everytime you used your favourite search engine.
How do I set this up?
Depending on the search engine or news aggregator, you should be able add newsfeeds by URL, the URL of our RSS newsfeed is a follows : -
